Clown skirt

I wanted to try the lovely pattern from UnePouleAPetitsPas with the happy textile I bought at the Lapjesmarkt in Utrecht… the result is maybe a touch too clownesque. And aprony. Not sure about it yet. But I practiced lots of new techniques!

Rather than zig-zagging the seams, I prefer French seams, fast and neat.

Invisible hem. Yeay.

I choose for biais around pockets, rather than the piping the original blog recommends. Lack of thin cord/lazy/what with the red dots you would hardly have noticed the thin piping. Biais nicely matches the inside elastic tube.
